In loving memory of Martha Briddell of Whaleyville, Maryland, who departed this world on November 14, 2025 at the age of 89. Martha leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Armstrong, Sr. and Leola Showell Armstrong; her husband Francis William Briddell; and her siblings, George Armstrong, Jr., Ranzie Armstrong, Sr., Alvin Armstrong and Phyllis Shockley.
She is survived by: her children, Cornelius A. Briddell (Alicia), Wanda F. Williams (James) and Gregory A. Briddell; her sister Leola Smack; and her friend Gertrude. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lewis N. Watson Funeral Home (1618 West Rd, Salisbury, MD 21801). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 21st 2025 at the Pullett's United Methodist Church Cemetery (11716 Sheppards Crossing Rd, Whaleyville, MD 21872).
