She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Bivens, Sr. and Oleatha Wright Bivens; her son Mark Wright, Jr.; and her siblings, Sylvester Bivens, Mitchell Beckett, Jerry Bivens, Wilsie Betty Handy, Jane Burrell, Montrude Pinkett, Lillian Smith, Lorraine Harris, Inez Beckett and Hilda Bivens.
She is survived by: her husband Mark Hanna Wright, Sr.; her daughters, Carmella Scott (Cornell), Lolita Wright and Hope Wright Moore (Henderson); her brother Roland "Sonny" Bivens, Jr. (Muriel); and her nephews, Anthony "Boot" Handy and Dean Burrell. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
