She was predeceased by : her parents, Albert Brand and Luvenia Burgess Brand; her husband George E. McFadden, Sr.; and her daughter Diane Thomas. She is survived by : her children, George E. McFadden, Jr., Sandra McFadden, Darrin McFadden (Eva), Angel McFadden, Shshannah Shamayahu (Obadiyah) and Leslie Jones. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several other relatives, in-laws, and friends.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (528 Delaware Ave, Delmar, DE 19940). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 29th 2024 at the Parsons Cemetery (912 N Division St, Salisbury, MD 21801).
