He is survived by: his mother Robinette Viola Wilson; his children, Sonja Taylor (Carter) and Allen Brooks, III; his grandchildren, Justin Taylor, Janay Taylor, Tiara Bain, Tiara Prather, Tayla Prather, Asia Brooks, Amber Brooks and Isaiah Brooks; and his siblings, Richard Brooks, Gilbert Brooks (Helen), Leonard Brooks (Francine) and Beatrice Brooks. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
