She was predeceased by: her husband Paul D. Horst; and her sister Patricia Ann Martin. She is survived by: her parents, Clyde Martin and Edna Martin (Stickler); her children, Patricia H. Llewellyn (Victor) of Rockville, Timothy P. Horst (Jennifer) of Rockville and Amy H. Swartz (Kenton) of Rockville; her stepdaughter Barbara Conran (Ron) of Ellicott City; her brothers, Richard Martin and James Martin; and her grandchildren, Megan, Paul, Heather, Hannah, Kurtis, Mason, Konrad, Anna and Mark. She is also survived by three great grandchildren; numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
