He was predeceased by: his father Anthony Michael De Fino (Concetta Frances); and his brother-in-law James Edward Eckenrode. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann De Fino; his daughters, Stephanie Michelle DiPisa (Mark Joseph) of Montville, NJ and Stacy Lynn Jones (Matthew Alexander) of Urbana, MD.; his grandchildren, Joseph Michael DiPisa, Daniela Marie DiPisa, Giana Rose DiPisa, Juliana Elise Jones and Isabella Grace Jones; his siblings, Louise Anne Eckenrode of Kensington, MD and Anthony Joseph De Fino (Patricia Anne) of Adelphi, MD; and his nephews, Brian Joseph Eckenrode of Burtonsville, MD and Michael John Eckenrode of Kensington, MD..

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Orphanage, 170 Diamond Spring Road in Denville, NJ.
