Joseph McGeady Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph McGeady of Severn, Maryland, who passed away on December 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph McGeady to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Monica Straub and Manus E. McGeady; and his brothers, Eamonn, Glen and Francis Xavier.
He is survived by: his wife Emily; his great grandchild Stuart; his daughters, Molly Anderson (Mike), Emily-Kate McGeady and Marcia Magette (Tom); his grandsons, Christopher (Sarah), Matthew Magette (Meghan) and Joe, Jr. (Marla); his great grandchildren, Babette Pendleton-Mosis (Samer) and Rosemary; his grandson Michael; his great grandchild Henry; his granddaughter Monica Ruppert (Mike); his great grandchildren, Melanie Murray (Kyle), Davey Joe, Emma Siska (Matt), Matt (Kim), Jennifer Bushnell (Chris) and Patrick (Courtney); Logan, Emilia, Magdalene, Matthew, Jr., Cullen Sporleder (Joseph), Xavier, Blaise Benoit (Alex), Kavanagh-Faye, Synjon, Bonaventure, Maria Kekoa, Keeldrum, Thomas, Joseph and Charles. He is also survived by seven children, thirty-six grandchildren.
As many know, for some time Joe was bravely fighting, but suffering from respiratory failure unrelated to the current pandemic.
Donations may be offered to the St. Vincent DePaul Society at St. John's, which runs a food pantry and provides other household basics to individuals and families in dire need.
