He is survived by: his mother Beverly Rice; his wife Helene Rice of Severn, MD; his daughter Lynne Hiemer (Timothy) of The Woodlands, TX; his grandchildren, William, Nora and Ethan; his daughter Kathryn Toskov (Martin) of Arnold, MD; and his grandsons, Nicholas, Owen and Colin.
