She was predeceased by : her parents, Ethel Elizabeth Vonville and John Frank Vonville; her husband George Edsel Newcomb; and her siblings, Charles Vonville, John Joseph Vonville, Phillip Vonville, Ruthanna Callahan and Mary Catherine Breeding.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Newcomb (Kathy) of Rhodesdale, MD, JoAnn Pennington (Jerry) of Millersville, MD, Kathy Armitage of Glen Burnie, MD and Emily Donaho (Mike) of Pasadena, MD. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
