He was predeceased by: his parents, Aphary W. Insley and Virginia Insley; his wife Etta; and his brother Lawrence Donald Insley. He is survived by: his son John, Jr. (Sharon); and his sisters, Katherine Marie Myers and Constance Jacqueline Buckheit. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
