He was predeceased by: his wife Mary M. Sampogna; his son Paul Sampogna; and his sisters, Mary Koche, Josephine Lowe, Carolina Harris and Yolanda Pelosi.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Hughes (Barry), Connie Igou (Randy), John Sampogna (Katie), Barbara Sampogna and Christopher Sampogna (Nicky); and his sister Jane Soluri (Bob). He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (4101 Norbeck Rd, Rockville, MD 20853). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, July 3rd 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
