He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Barrie; his daughter Victoria Pereira; his siblings, Hildegarde Hilaire, Anna Joseph, Helen Etienne, Edward Francis and Reynold Francis; and his siblings-in-law, Thomas Etienne, Issac Augustine and Elizabeth Francis.
He is survived by: his children, Rose Nathalie Barrie, Joan Bannis, Myrtle Barrie-Jemmott, Coady Barrie, Brian Barrie and Kenneth Barrie; his children-in-law, Roy Bannis, Glenn Jemmott, Judith Morris Barrie, Norma Henry-Barrie, Everlyn Alexander-Barrie and Andrea Laville-Barrie; his siblings, Simon Francis, Eleanor Joseph and Seraphine Augustine; his aunts, Drina Laronde and Justina George; his uncle Gaius Eusebe; and his siblings-in-law, Norma Small-Warren and Tama Christian-Francis. He is also survived by his numerous nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives, friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:15 AM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:15 AM at the St. Catherine Labouré Church (11801 Claridge Rd, Wheaton, MD 20902).
