He was predeceased by : his parents, William Atwell and Effie Bast; his wife Jeanne Rice Atwell; and his children, Julie, Theresa and Bobby.
He is survived by : his children, Louise Bogan (Dennis), Christopher (Mary) and Bryan (Gabriela); and his grandchildren, Sean, Colleen, Katherine, Jack and Alec. He is also survived by 5 great grandchildren.
