She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Shrieves and Flossie Trader Shrieves; her husband Henry Bishop, Sr.; her daughters, Brenda Sample and Jacqueline Taylor; and her brothers, William Shrieves, Richard Shrieves and Harold Shrieves.
She is survived by: her son Henry Bishop, Jr. (Decola); and her cousin Ida Cox. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
