He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Godfrey and Catherine Godfrey (Beauchamp); his wife Carol Ann Godfrey (Hill); his daughters, Patti Godfrey (Bruce) of Mappsville, VA and Michele Godfrey of Snow Hill; his grandson Marcus Robins; his brothers, Norman and Donald Godfrey (Tomie); and his friends, Robert, Kevin Douglas and Roy Robins.
