She was predeceased by: her parents, Melvin Hoerl Sr. and Muriel Hoerl; her husband Walter S. Tegeler Jr.; her brother Melvin Jr.; and her granddaughter Christina.
She is survived by: her children, Walter III, Debbie Tegeler, Donald, Susie Tegeler, Michele, Chuck Garrett, Steven and Peggy Tegeler; her siblings, Don, Carol Hoerl, Gerta Hoerl, Sandy and Kenny Kelly; her grandchildren, Donald Jr., Michael, Stephanie, Walter IV, Trey, Rebecca and Kyle; and her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Wayde, Liam, Jack, Brooke, Aubrey, Colton, Waylon, Lane, Caroline, Avery, Josie and River.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Beside South Carroll High School (1212 W Old Liberty Rd, Sykesville, MD 21784). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.
