It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ellen Desilets of Sykesville, Maryland, who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Ellen shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Ellen farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Cummings and Ella Cummings; and her husband Richard Joseph Desilets. She is survived by: her daughter Tracy Beck; and her grandchildren, Kirstin Pilkerton and Brian Beck.
A graveside service was held on Friday, October 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Meadow Branch Cemetery (818 Old Taneytown Rd, Westminster, MD 21158).
