She was predeceased by : her close friend Bernard Popick; her parents, Tillie Weisberg and Irving Weisberg; and her sisters, Shirley Lappin (Elmer) and Sonya Passen (Alex).

She is survived by : her children, Marc Silverstein (Sheryl Platt) and R. Steven Silverstein (Cheryl); her sisters-in-law, Judy Silverstein (Stanley) and Carolyn Silverstein; her grandchildren, David Silverstein (Becky), Stephanie Kraft (Zachary), R. Scott Silverstein (Anne Lumpkin) and Rachel Silverstein; her great grandchildren, Jacob, Nathan Silverstein and Logan Kraft; her daughter-in-law Ellen Silverstein; and her nieces and nephews, Roz Guarnieri (Ron), Marcie Plotkin (Jeff) and Michael Silverstein.
