He was predeceased by : his spouse Patrica Ann Heying (Brindle); and his sibling Frank Heying. He is survived by : his sons, William E. Heying, Jr. of Fruitland, MD and Richard Bernard Heying (Donna) of Sykesville, MD; his grandchildren, Christoper Heying, Jessica Heying and Patrick Heying; and his sibling Ethel "Sissy" Faust.
