With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Rogers of Taneytown, Maryland, born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on August 14, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Rogers to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Claude Rogers, Sr. and Clara Julia Rogers (Gerlach); his sister Kathleen Kist; and his brother-in-law Sam Alaimo. He is survived by: his wife Christine Rogers (Jones); his daughters, Melanie Bent (Anthony) of Baltimore and Virginia Clarkson (John) of Aldie, VA; his grandchildren, Charlotte Fletcher (Hunter) and Anthony Bent, Jr.; his sisters, Barbara Alaimo of Baltimore and Anne Gordon (Robert) of Baltimore; and his niece Erin Gordon (Christopher Windle).
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a memorial service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a contribution to Carroll Hospice, 292 Stoner Ave., Westminster, MD 21157, or to a charity of one's choice.
