He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Patricia Finlay; his children, Carolyn Ann McCombe and Scott William Finlay; and his sister Mary Catherine Douglas. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, 2 nieces, and 1 nephew.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to Our Lady of Grace Church.
