He is survived by: his parent Mariam Merrick (Tiepermann); his children, Mark Merrick (Carla), Pamela Heying and Jennifer Merrick (Bob Sigmon); his grandchildren, Samantha Abraham (Ross), Zachary Merrick, Stephanie Wisniewski and Jackie Merrick; his brother Harry Merrick (Pamela); and his sibling's children, Teri Merrick and Chris Merrick.
