She was predeceased by: her spouse Edward Kellner; her child James Kenneth Melton; and her sibling Nancy Cross (Ron). She is survived by: her children, Allan Melton (Michele) and Mark G. Melton (Kathleen); her grandchildren, David Jr. (Amanda), Mark Jr. (Dante), Lauren and Sarah (Justin); her great grandchild Elijah; and her sibling Melvin Schriefer (Mary). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Barbara's memory may be made to the American Heart Association http://www.heart.org.
