He was predeceased by: his grandchild Jennifer Thompson. He is survived by: his children, Susan Ely Weber (Paul) of Annapolis, MD., Laura Ely of Towson, MD. and Sally Ely Lewis of Kingsville, MD.; his grandchildren, Christopher Lewis, Emma Lewis, Claire Weber, Brooke Weber and Samuel Thompson; and his sibling Carolyn Booth (Ed). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church 13300 Manor Road Glen Arm, MD.
