He was predeceased by: his parent George E. Brune, Sr.; and his siblings, Brigid Lickteig and Kathy Brune. He is survived by: his spouse Grace Brune; his children, Carolyn Brune, David Brune (Sandra), Jennifer Speargas (Paul) and Danielle Brune; his parent Frances Zelaznicki Brune; his grandchildren, Matt, Caitlin, Sean, Shep and Augie; and his siblings, Bernie, Michael, Frances and Mary Brune. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in George's memory may be made to Calvert Hall College High School or the Little Sisters of the Poor.
