He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Sheehan and Carmella Kahl Sheehan; his stepmother Virginia Sheehan; his brother Peter C.; and his stepsister Ann S. Oglesby.

He is survived by: his spouse Neza Sheehan; his daughters, Caroline Sheehan and Angela Sheehan; his brother Barry C. Sheehan; and his stepbrothers, Joseph G., Thomas J. Healey and John A. Healey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
