She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Whitehurst and Margaret Whitehurst. She is survived by: her siblings, Susan Reynolds, Charles Effinger, Peter Effinger and Scott Effinger; her children, Tom Whitehurst, Dave Whitehurst, Susan Petrush, Ron Whitehurst, Jr, John Stephen Whitehurst, Tom Petrush, Wendy Whitehurst, Melinda Whitehurst, Tara Whitehurst and Billie Whitehurst; and her grandchildren, Brittany, Taylor, Daniel, Matthew, Casey, Tim, Jenifer, Christopher, Colby, Shelby, Cole, William, Gunnar and Zeke. She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Nancy's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
