He is survived by: his children, Daniel S. Whipple (Kathy Bogan), Peter J. Whipple (Doris), Thomas A. Whipple (Nancy), Paul A. Whipple (Sharon) and Sara Jo Whipple. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
