He was predeceased by: his son Robert L. Pierce. He is survived by: his son Thomas L. Pierce of Rochester, N. Y.; and his brother E. E. "Turk" Pierce of York.

Services will be held Dec. 22 at his church, the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer, 5603 N. Charles St., Baltimore, MD 21210 and memorial donations may be made to the church.
