He was predeceased by: his wife Dorothy L. Taneyhill. He is survived by: his children, James W. Taneyhill (Karen), Thomas P. Taneyhill (Margaret), Anne Denise Wittpenn (John), Mary DeSales Lohr (Frederick) and Dorothy Ellen Taneyhill; his grandchildren, Kathryn, Joseph, Philip, Christopher, Meghan, Lauren, John, James, Elizabeth, Thomas and Daniel; and his great grandchildren, Nora, Declan, Andrew and Brooke. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
