He is survived by : his significant other Adell Pope; his children, Andre Pope of Lawrenceville, GA, Michael (Kathy) of Atlanta, GA, DiAnn Dandridge of Rutherfordton, NC and Wendy Proctor (Fitzgerald) of LaPlata, MD; his sisters, Ruth Harris of Winder, GA and Mary Hardeman of Winder, GA; his siblings-in-law, Dorothy Cooper, Diane Short (Cecil), James Short, Jr. (Tyvise), Spencer Short, Bennie Jenkins, Thomas Short, Sr. (Betty) and Harold Short (Hazel); his son-in-law Fitzgerald Proctor; his nephew Webster Lee; his close friends, John Jenifer, Sr. (Tracey), Coralee Coates and Girard Myers; and his pets, Coupon and Buttercup.
