Brinsfield (Vienna, Maryland), born in Cambridge, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 101, on September 2, 2019. She was predeceased by : her parents, Lee Elliott and Sallie Vickers Elliott of Cambridge; her son Dr. Truitt Brinsfield, Jr.; her children-in-law, Ronald E. Hughes and Diane Brinsfield Walton; her granddaughter Jessica Montgomery; her son-in-law Paul Furbush; and her siblings, Emma Elliott, Lee, Russell and Edward Elliott.

She is survived by : her spouse Truitt Hicks Brinsfield; her children, Elaine Daniel (Leonard), Dr. Russell Brinsfield (Sandy) and Carole Furbush; her grandchildren, Ron Hughes (Karen), Hugh Scott Brinsfield (Diana), Sharon Smith, Jennifer Trainham (Tim), Cathy Neal (Eric) and Amanda Fenstermaker (Phillip); her great grandchildren, Jake Hughes, Jessie Hughes, Tracey Avetisyan (Tigran), Samantha Andre, Courtney Smith, Casey Boone (Kyle), Megan Neal, Truitt Brinsfield, Taylor Brinsfield, Claudia, Naomi, Issac Fenstermaker, Ariel and Brianna Montgomery; and her stepgrandson Joey Neal. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
