We are sad to announce that on December 6, 2023, at the age of 54, Candace Marie Lants of Waldorf, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her grandparents, Louis, Catherine Lants, Norman and Josephine Murray; and her aunts and uncles, John Lants (Ilene), Ralph Walker, Jennifer Murray and Marleen Lants.

She is survived by : her parents, Nancy Lants (Murray) and David Lants; her brother Joseph Lants (Monica); her niece Prescilla Lants (Todd Kingman); her great-niece Sya; her great-nephew Rylan; her aunts and uncles, Anthony Murray, Andrew Lants, Ben Lants, Al Lants, Sissy Crisostomo (Criss) and Cathy Walker; and her cousins, Thomas Abel, Jr., Thomas Farrell, Jr., Angela Farrell, Angela Castaldy, Brian Lants, Clint Walker, Keith Lants, Christian Lants and Tracy Osborne.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Candie's name are asked to the, Humane Society of Charles County, 71 Industrial Park Drive, Waldorf, MD 20602.
