We are sad to announce that on March 22, 2024, at the age of 89, Elinore Mildred Fortney of Waldorf, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Henry Stepp and Blanche Stepp; and her siblings, Jean Utterson, Robert Stepp, Sr., Edward Stepp and Grace LaChance.
She is survived by : her children, Charles R. Fortney, Jr. of Burlington, NC, Daniel R. Fortney, Sr. of Centreville, VA, David R. Fortney of Warrenton, VA and Terri Beinert of Waldorf, MD; her grandchildren, Christian, Heather, Daniel, Leanne, Caley and Julie; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Elijah, Jacob, Genesis, Ruby, Lincoln and Penelope; and her great great grandchild James. She is also survived by her family, friends.
