He was predeceased by: his siblings, Henry "Sandy" Brown, III and Sherly Ambush. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Brown; his children, Curtis Brown (Monica) and Suzanne Simmons (Jeffrey); his grandson Shawn Simmons; and his siblings, Wayne Brown (Isabelle) and Charlene Brown Ivy (Melvyn). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and other relatives and friends.
