She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Eyler McGraw and Charles H. McGraw; her husband Harold L. Shaffer; and her siblings, Edna Claybaugh, Betty Tawney, Viola McDonald, William "Bill" McGraw and Jimmy McGraw.
She is survived by: her children, Gail Martin of Westminster and Jeffrey Shaffer (Linda) of Taneytown; her son-in-law Pat Martin; and her sister Marie Whitcomb. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
