He was predeceased by: his parents, Rose V. Higgins and Robert E. Kingsbury Sr.; his spouse Beverly A. Smith; and his siblings, Bruce H., Eugene H., Robert E. Jr., Roger A. Kingsbury and Thelma K. Brittell.
He is survived by: his friend Bruce McGowen; his children, Linda L. McKellar (William) of Bath, Nancy A. Davis of Arrowsic and Steven C. Kingsbury (Judy) of Woolwich; his sisters, Sylvia Fuller (Dennis) of Woolwich and Elaine Ricker of Bath; his uncle Harry Higgins (Lorraine) of Bath; and his grandchildren, Shawn Davis of Arrowsic, Todd McKellar (Hillary) of Lexington, MA, Amy McKellar (Mandy Nichols) of Needham, MA, Travis McKellar (Rebecca) of Naples, FL, Jessica Reynolds (Corey) of Georgetown and Lisa Kingsbury (David Moore) of Chelsea. He is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
