It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Noel Theriault of Auburn, Maine, who passed away on May 29, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Annonciade Theriault and Gerard Theriault; his son Jason Theriault; and his brother-in-law Jonathan. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Theriault; his daughter Christine Burke (Arron); his grandchildren, Allison and Evan Burke; his son Michael Theriault (Diane Hirsh Theriault); his grandsons, James and Andrew; his daughter-in-law Barbie Theriault; his grandchildren, Alexander and Amelia Theriault; and his siblings, Maurice Theriault (Diane), Roger Theriault (Lorraine), Diane Fortin (Gerry) and Rachel St. Pierre (Michael). He is also survived by three brothers-in-law, four sisters-in-law, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the The Fortin & Pinette Group (217 Turner St, Auburn, ME 04210). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul (122 Ash St, Lewiston, ME 04240).
