It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Allison F. Longstaff Jr. (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on May 20, 2025, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Allison farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Allison is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his significant other Daniel W. Pomerleau. He is survived by: his siblings, Sandra Newton (John) and Michael (Lori); his sister-in-law Barbara Shepard (Kip); and his children, Bryan Longstaff and Jill Post (Percy). He is also survived by grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and many other beloved family and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Family Cemetery (197 Civic Center Dr, Augusta, ME 04330).
