He was predeceased by: his parents, Winfred Ashcroft and Bessie Ashcroft; and his siblings, Clarence Callahan, Richard Ashcroft and Phyllis Saga.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Ashcroft; his son Jordan Ashcroft; and his grandchildren, Daniel Roy, Martin Vigue, Nicole Vigue and Lori Ashcroft (Scott Hale).

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
