Carmelita Martin Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmelita Martin (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on November 30, 2020 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Carmelita Martin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John T. Lickteig and Mary E. Lickteig (Ohmas) of Wesley, IA.; her husband Richard G. Martin; and her siblings, Urban, Don Jack, Dennis, Gerry, Ann Buettner and Edna Waldschmidt.
She is survived by: her sons, Michael (Mary Lou) of Winslow, Peter (Lynda) of Sidney and Paul (Julie) of Arlington, WA; her sister Shirley Hanley of Iowa; and her sister-in-law Luella Lickteig of Iowa. She is also survived by six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Adhering to CDC guidelines of 50 or fewer people, social distancing and wearing of masks, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, December 10th at 11:00 AM at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Northern Ave., Augusta.
