It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles McCarthy (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on August 24, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles McCarthy to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph S. McCarthy and Lucienne McCarthy (Tartre); and his siblings, Donald, Joseph McCarthy and Yvonne Farnsworth.
He is survived by: his wife Lucie Marie McCarthy (Gingras) of Augusta; and his children, Charles D. McCarthy (Penny) of Brewer, Kathleen A. Tolman (Greg) of Scarborough and Mary Keeley (Dan) of Kents Hill. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, their spouses and significant others, one great granddaughter, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
