He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Brown and Bibian Brown; his mother-in-law Muriel Griffin; and his siblings-in-law, Lucille Brown, Patsy Brown, William Draper, William Manson, John Lasky and Mike Griffin.
He is survived by: his spouse Laurie Pelkey; his daughters, Duska (Pastor Josh Lovelace) of Jefferson and Danielle (Derek Granquist) of Monroe; his great grandchild Catie; his father-in-law Dale Griffin (Lillian Foss); his siblings, Joan Draper (Bill Short), Dick (Carol Brown), Ronnie Brown, Anita (Wayne Johnson) and Rita (Sonny Stewart); and his sisters-in-law, Angela Spencer (Jim), Donna Pelkey, Jackie Putnam (Lee), Lynn Gordon (Mark), Julie Shepard (Steve) and Joan Griffin (Roxanne Silva). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and many great nieces and nephews.
