With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Benner (Augusta, Maine), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 10, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton D. Dobbins and Eleanor Dobbins (Lafferty); and her siblings, Carlton, William Dobbins and Joan Lopez.
She is survived by: her husband Fred W. Benner of Farmingdale; her children, Andrew Benner (Stephanie) of Farmingdale, James L. Benner (Karen) of Farmingdale, Stephen F. Benner (Lisa) of Farmingdale, Susan J. Shepherd (Eric) of Farmingdale and Linda B. Stahlnecker (Jim) of Farmingdale; and her grandchildren, Devin, Bradley, Eva, Westley, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Joshua, Nathaniel, Julia, J. Benjamin, Emalee, Amanda and Sarah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
