He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Paul Lachance and Louise Lachance (Theriault); his wife Cecile Lachance (Dupuis); his daughter Carol A. Lachance; his siblings, J. Leo Lachance, Norman Lachance, Roger Lachance and Yvette Richards; his son-in-law Rudy Lavallee; and his siblings-in-law, Arlene Lachance, Roland "Duke" Dupuis, Christine Dupuis, Rita Hall and Clermont Poulin (Theresa).
He is survived by: his daughters, Theresa Lavallee of Augusta, ME and Pauline Lachance of Augusta, ME; his sister Marie Louise Lachance of Augusta, ME; his grandchildren, Jason Pare, Melissa Monroe and Brent Lavallee; and his great grandchildren, Ben Monroe, Nate, Hannah Pare, Carter and Kinzey Lavallee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
