He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Davis and Laura Davis (Holmes); his sons, Foster and Stephen Davis; and his siblings, Fairfield Davis, Betsy White, Marjorie Smith and Linda Kondas.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia May Davis (Minoty) of Augusta; his daughter Karen Sawyer of Augusta; his stepchildren, Sharon Wildes of Oakland, Barbara Libby of Augusta, Donna Poulin of Windsor and Gary Minoty of Augusta; and his sister Clista Roy of Lewiston. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
