With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Grotton (Augusta, Maine), who passed away on May 18, 2021 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Allen Young and Bernice Young (Gracie); her husband John W. Grotton; her sons, John W. Grotton, Jr. and James W. Grotton; her sisters, Alfreda Grotton, Hazel Peabody and Marion Collins; and her son-in-law Alan Setzer.
She is survived by: her children, Joel, Cynthia Riley (Bob) of South China and Candace Setzer of Winder, GA; her sister Charlotte Young of Newcastle; and her grandchildren, Wade (Lesley), Heather (Peter), Jessica (Mike Makowski), Rachael (Ken), Nancy (Mike), Joel Grotton, Jason Grotton, John Grotton and Kiley Grotton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers and sisters in law, and cousins.
