Melvin (Augusta, Maine), born in Farmington, Maine, who passed away on August 9, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her parents, Thomas L. and Eva M. Carter (Crosswell); her son Michael L. Melvin of Madison; and her sister Avis Filler of Philadelphia.
