She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward J. Castle and Lucille A. Castle (Stinchfield); her husband Hugh S. Holmes; and her brother Edward J. Castle III. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey A. Holmes (Melissa) of Wakefield, MA and Cheryl A. H. Whittington (Guy) of Belgrade; and her grandchildren, Alex Dow, Charlotte, Calvin Holmes, Molly and Sally Whittington. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
