He was predeceased by: his parents, Ishmael Thacker and Mary Thacker (Baker); his wife Carlene; and his brother Charles Wayne Thacker. He is survived by: his daughter Melanie Thacker of Augusta; and his siblings, Ronald Thacker and Donna Kay Summers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
